Welcome to Antiquity, and the year 1820 – or thereabouts! We shift, although late in the Regency period is our semi-official home.
Below is a calendar of this season’s Events. All are welcome to join us at any listed event; no experience is necessary. Keep in mind that things can change, however, so watch the 1800s Antiquity Group chat for updates to the exact schedule.
This community calendar is released weekly via the Antiquity 1800s group in Second Life. We encourage the citizens of Antiquity to suggest, request and/or plan events (dances, dinners, performances, battles, etc.) for the enjoyment of everyone.
All future events that you wish to plan must be submitted in one of the tall Red Events Post Boxes for review, approval and scheduling on our Events Calendar. Please note, event submissions MUST be sent in at least two weeks prior to your preferred Event Date in order to be approved and scheduled.
Simply fill out the details for your proposed event on a note card in Second Life. Include the following information:
- EVENT
- DATE
- TIMES (both start and end times)
- LOCATION/VENUE (Conyngham House, Pump Room, etc.)
- LANDMARK OF VENUE
- NAME(S) OF HOST(S)
Save the notecard to your inventory and then drag it over the post box to mail it. Your NC will be delivered immediately for review. Events Post Boxes have been placed at the following locations:
- On the Corner by the Coffee Shop in Bath
- At the Public Farm in Tejas
- At the Mont Saint Bruno Market Place
- At the Rental Box Office in the State Capitol Building
