The Bond Show – A Grand Conclusion to the “Decades of Bond” Week …
The Bond Show was the crowning achievement of the “Decades of Bond” week. The week of events was organized in Antiquity to support the fundraising campaign of team Aether Chrononauts Tiny Steps for Relay Of Life of Second Life.
The show went through most of the iconic Bond movies and the Desanto Theater Group troupe danced several scenes at the tunes of some of the most popular 007 songs and themes, such as Underneath the Mango Tree, For Your Eyes Only, Skyfall, just to mention a few.
The movies that inspired the dancing numbers were Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, the Spy who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, Goldeneye, Tomorrow never Dies, The World is not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Skyfall, Spectre, No Time to Die.
All the numbers were compelling but the one inspired to Skyfall was particularly spectacular with the falling of a helicopter and a big explosion on stage.
The numerous public cheered wildly throughout the show.
It was a grand closure to the week and it contributed awesomely to the fundraising campaign in Antiquity, that this year reached a new high.
